My Passion Project
This year my class is participating in its very first Passion Project. My STEAM class will be using 20% of their time in class (Fridays) to work on something they are passionate about. This is something they have never done before or have had just a little experience with. They will be using resources like books, Pinterest, YouTube and Ebsco to research their project and idea and to find tutorials that will help them to learn their chosen topic. Each student will create a blog that will chronicle their Passion Project journey. They will insert pictures and videos of their work as they progress thru the project and in the end will create a Multi-Media Extravaganza to present to their peers. This project will help my students to learn how to find information, create with their hands, face adversity and frustration and overcome obstacles.
